Looking for a part-time job 2nd semester?

If you're looking for a couple extra bucks this coming spring semester, the West Campus Library is looking one or two students for a couple of hours each week. We are looking for people to help around the noon hour or during the early evening. If you are interested, please stop in at the West Library (rm302).

Spring Break is almost here! Spring Break is March 12-16. The West Campus Library will be open from 7:30-3:30 each day that week.

Oscar Contest Winner

Congratulations to Eitan Barak, the winner of the 2011 Madison College Libraries Oscar Contest! Eitan answered a whopping 15 of 24 categories correctly to run away with the win. For his efforts, Eitan receives a pair of Marcus Theater movie passes.

Student Satisfaction Survey

Take a couple minutes sometime from February 13-26 to fill out the Madison College Student Satisfaction Survey at http://matcmadison.edu/satisfaction and you will get a small prize just for taking it. You will also be eligible for a drawing for bigger prizes.

Over the semester break the West Library computer lab upgraded to Windows 7 and Office 2010. Also, the school upgraded Blackboard to version 9.1. All of these upgrades mean improved experiences for students, but you may have some questions about where things are that you were used to in earlier versions. Ask us if you need help, or grab one of the quick reference guides at the desk.
